‘Removr’ has been launched to develop the World’s first 1-million-ton solid sorbent Direct Air Capture Plant

Norwegian green industry pioneers Vanir Green Industries and GreenCap Solutions, a company controlled by the industry group BR Industrier, formed a new company Removr to scale and industrialize Direct Air Capture (DAC). Removr’s DAC plants will adsorb CO2 by utilizing the microporous zeolite adsorbents. Post reaching the saturation of zeolites, the CO2 is desorbed using heat and sent for storage as compressed gas or liquid. This process is highly energy efficient compared to existing DAC technologies.
This joint effort will propel the development of large-scale DAC
