Cummins, Paccar: Natural Gas Truck Collaboration

PACCAR has partnered with Cummins to offer the new Cummins X15N natural gas engine specifically designed for heavy-duty truck applications with up to 500 horsepower output in Kenworth and Peterbilt trucks. The engine will include the integration of the Cummins Clean Fuel Technologies fuel delivery system. The collaboration will help in offering sustainable, affordable power solutions that use proven engine technology, and existing infrastructure, reduce the cost of adopting low-emissions technologies (reduce NOx), and help reach net-zero greenhouse gas emissions for long-haul applications. The adoption of the X15N engine can achieve 90% emission reduction or even carbon neutral or negative depending upon the source of fuel.
