IFF announced the opening of its new Nourish Innovation Lab, at the company’s research and development facility in Union Beach, New Jersey. In the cutting-edge lab, scientists including flavorists and food designers will take advantage of tools, technology, and knowledge of ingredients to provide customers full product design, fostering innovation and fostering growth in the international food and beverage industries.

IFF will serve consumers at the Nourish Innovation Lab using the full line of products available including proteins, maskers, modulators, sweeteners, spices, functional ingredients, cultures, and enzymes. The 160,000 square foot Union Beach facility, which also contains a sensory science wing and a pilot manufacturing plant, has been IFF’s top taste and aroma research center for more than 50 years. The scientists from various backgrounds within the lab will promote more collaboration and novel ideas that combine science and creativity. Their investment in Union Beach will strengthen their dedication to provide cutting-edge technologies and solutions to their customers’ needs.
